The Boys Are Back in Town

4 places since the last post.... hmmm... where do we begin. Well to settle the nerves we are blogging from Rome, so we made it, but the travels in between were amazing as usual. We will give you the abridged version.

We will start out in Prague, where we left everyone hanging. It was mostly raining in Prague the whole time we were there, but that didn't stop us from site seeing and having a good time. We saw the largest castle in europe... which overlooked the whole city, both were amazing sites. After drying out and freshining up we did our first pub crawl that night in Prague. Almost missed it, but we made the pub crawl just in time and had a blast! Fun Fact: Chad met 4 different people from marquette that night on the pub crawl also, one a group partner for a class.

We left Prague by hopping on a train we were hoping was heading to munich... And in our cabin on the train 3 other americans joined us that were hoping the same thing. A brother and a sister from Texas and a guy from New York. They were planning on connecting in Munich and headin some where else. However, after hanging out and a few beers on the train they decided we were pretty cool and were gonna stay the night in Munich with us. Two of them left the next morning and one decided to tag along for another day in Munich. To sum up Munich we drank alot of oversized beers, met a bunch americans, and the city was beautiful.

Then we went to Florence and met up with two of our river rafting buddys. We stayed for 2 nights, learned to love wine, and saw some amazing sites like the David...

Cinque Terra... Don't know how to put it into words... WOW!

And now were in Rome, about to head into the city and conquer once again.

Ciao for now! Hope everyone is safe back in the states, keep commenting so we know everyone is allright.

Peace.

  1. Just wanted to let you know we made it back safefly from Wisconsin. Didn't want you worrying since we had to fly through Detroit to make our connection. It was a little tense but we handled it! The scariest part was seeing your mess you deposited from your apartment that you left at our house in De Pere. Good times lie ahead for you there. Glad to hear your trip has gone so well. This is something you will always be so glad you did while you had the opportunity. Can't wait to see you though! Enjoy your last days in Rome! Ciao, baby!

  2. well always so glad to hear from you, it always makes my day. I see you did the same thing in Munich that all of your German ancestors would have done, I'm sure they would have been "proud" of you......Saw your little brother graduate last night, just hope in 4 or 5 years I don't have to live through his European vacation. Can't wait to see you guys on Sunday. Love G G

  3. WOW guys! It almost brings tears to my eyes to hear all of the wonderful things you are experiencing, and that's not even 1/2 of it. These are opportunities that are rare and so so so special. Y'all deserve it! I hope Rome treats you well and is a good place to conclude your trip. Have safe travels back to the states and wave at my plane as we pass over the Atlantic at nearly the same time. haha!
